Careers at OpenGate

We are a growing organisation, and the people we take on shape what a placement here actually feels like. If you want to work with young people who have not been well served by mainstream education, we would like to hear from you.

What working here is like

01

Small settings, real relationships

Centres are deliberately small. You will know every young person you work with by name, and have the time to act on what you notice rather than pass it along.

02

Backed, not left to it

Staff work alongside a safeguarding lead and a senior team who are present in the centre, not at the end of a ticket queue.

03

Room to develop

Teaching, mentoring, therapeutic and vocational roles sit side by side here, and people move between them. Training is planned around where you want to get to.

Get in touch with a region

Recruitment is handled regionally. Write to the team you would be working with.
